Topic title: Injectable hydrogels for tissue regeneration

Abstract: Among the scaffolds for tissue-engineering applications, injectable hydrogels have demonstrated great potential for use as three-dimensional cell culture scaffolds, owing to their high water content, similarity to the natural extracellular matrix, porous framework for cell transplantation and proliferation, minimal invasive properties, and ability to match irregular defects. In this talk, several fast-forming injectable hydrogels with great biocompatibility, biodegradatibility, bioactivity and mechanical properties will be presented, with repair and regeneration applications for skin, bone, spinal cord etc.
