徐弢 教授/国家特聘专家,深圳清华大学研究院研发中心主任

徐弢教授入选国家特聘专家(国家海外高层次人才)和科技部“科技创新创业人才”。先后担任国际生物制造学会(ISFB)理事、中国增材制造产业联盟副理事长、中国生物材料学会生物材料先进制造分会主任委员、中国材料研究学会增材制造分会副主任委员等职位。

徐弢教授是国际上较早从事细胞和器官打印技术开发的研究者之一,拥有世界上首个细胞打印专利。作为项目负责人,他主持了包括美国国家卫生研究院、国家科学基金会、国防部、中国科技部的863计划、国家自然科学基金、工信部增材制造专项、军队后勤开放项目在内的三十余项国内外3D打印重点项目。他在《Nature Biotechnology》、《Chemical Reviews》等学术期刊上发表了200余篇国际论文和摘要,其中单篇最高影响因子达到72。徐教授申请了100多项国内外专利,获得了80项专利授权。他还获得了包括国家科学技术进步二等奖、军队科学技术进步一等奖、中国专利银奖、广东省专利金奖在内的近二十项奖项。

徐弢教授在技术及产业转化方面也取得了突出成绩。首个细胞打印技术专利被授权给美国纳斯达克上市公司Organovo,实现了成功的产业转化。他还联合创立了广州迈普再生医学科技股份有限公司,该公司开发的高端医疗器械产品已在全球超过1000家医院使用,包括英国剑桥大学附属医院。2021年,该公司成功登陆深圳证券交易所创业板,成为国内生物3D打印技术领域的第一家上市公司。

Topic title:Our Practice in Bioprinting Technology for Clinical Applications and Translation

Abstract:

This report provides a comprehensive review of the innovative developments in bioprinting technology that we have developed over the past decade, focusing on three key areas: minimally invasive 3D printing techniques, bedside instant 3D printing methods, and 3D printing technology aimed at direct in-body manufacturing. We will explore the fundamental principles of these technologies, their practical application scenarios, and their specific clinical practice outcomes. Furthermore, the report will also introduce how we have advanced some of these more mature technologies towards commercialization. Particularly, in the field of neurosurgery, our application of 3D printing has led to the development of various Class III medical devices, which are currently being clinically applied in mainstream hospitals in China and Europe, achieving favorable results and demonstrating the tremendous potential of 3D bioprinting technology.
